Arrive to Lima; transfer airport – hotel . City tour around "city of the kings"
DAY 2 PISCO
Explore Lima before catching a bus to Pisco, renowned for its local drink, the Pisco Sour. Enjoy Peruvian food and drink
DAY 3, 4 BALLESTA ISLAND - NAZCA
Visit the Ballestas Islands to view sea lion colonies, penguins and abundant bird life. Catch a bus to Nazca, stopping en route to visit the sand dunes of Huacachina, with an option to go sand boarding or buggy. Next day take a flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines, then optional visit a fascinating Pre-Inca cemetery in the Nazca desert with 1500 year-old mummies, bones and pottery. At night bus to Arequipa
DAY 5 AREQUIPA
At 2325m (7626 ft) above sea level Arequipa, Peru's second largest city, is surrounded by the Andes Mountains and lies in the shadow of El Misti Volcano. Optional visit to Santa Catalina Monastery or the cathedral's at the white city.
DAY 6, 7 COLCA CANYON
Travel to Chivay, where hot thermal baths and Peruvian music await. Acclimatize and take short hikes around one of the deepest canyons in the world. Try to spot a soaring Condor in the majestic Andes Mountains.
DAY 8, 9 PUNO
Travel the Andes to the town of puno on the Shore of Titicaca Lake. In the morning, we board a boat to visit taquile islands, stopping on rout to check out the floating reed islands of uros, then are immersed into Peruvian rural life with a home stay in a small village at amantany island
DAY 10 PUNO
Tour visit to an old Inca cemetery to know a bit more about puno culture
DAY 11 CUZCO
Enjoy spectacular views of the high altiplano region on this full day travel from puno to Cuzco.
DAY 12 SACRED VALLEY - OLLANTAYTAMBO
Travel with our local guide through the sacred valley, including the picturesque town and Inca ruins of ollantaytambo. We stay at the valley for overnight
DAY 13 AL 16 INCA TRAIL TO MACHU PICCHU
Begin your once in a lifetime journey on the ancient trail of the Incas with a morning trip to Km 82, where our hike start. Local porters and guides ensure that the trip is worry-free. Fascinating ruins and spectacular mountain scenery fill every day of the hike. On the final day, climb the steps to Inkipunku, the "sun gate", to watch the sunrise over macchu picchu before our tour of the famous Inca Ruins. We return to Cuzco for the night.
DAY 17 CUZCO
Enjoy the many sites and activities of Cuzco on this free day
DAY 18 DEPART CUZCO
Midday fly to return Lima. Enjoy your last day at the "City of Kings
